Use Evernote? Change Your Password!!

If you are an Evernote user, change your password as soon as possible!! The company is actually requiring every one of it's nearly 50 million users to change their passwords now that it has fallen victim to massive hacking attempts.

We've written about this extremely popular (and useful) app before, and we still think it is a wonderful way to keep track of personal notes, photos, and files. But you should be aware that the company admitted in a blog post that “individual(s) responsible were able to gain access to Evernote user information, which includes usernames, email addresses associated with Evernote accounts and encrypted passwords." However, no payment information was compromised.

So if you aren't an Evernote user yet, don't let this incident dissuade you. The company is taking steps to prevent further hacking attempts, and is still one of the best apps of its kind on the market!
