Apple Introduces iOS 7

Chances are, if you were following the world of tech on Monday, you heard about some incredible changes Apple is introducing to its mobile software. With the introduction of the iOS 7, your iPhone and iPad will never look the same. So what’s going to change? What can you expect to see on your phone and tablet when these changes take place later this fall when the completely redesigned software is released? Apple CEO Tim Cook states, “This is the biggest change to iOS since the introduction of the iPhone.” With a statement as bold as that, you know these changes are going to be huge, and we are here to highlight a few of our favorites.

The first change we will be noticing comes with the sleek new design of the software. You can say goodbye to the look we have all been accustomed to in the past. The textures and pattern backgrounds have been replaced with bright colors and lots of white space. With that being said, the layout is still the same and this leaves many Apple fans breathing with a sigh of relief.

The next major factor that comes with the new iOS 7 is the Control Center feature. This feature will save you plenty of time when it comes to digging into the settings of your phone. Gone are the days of having to open your settings and dig a few layers deep just to lower the brightness of your screen. This feature will allow you to swipe up, giving you access to Wi-Fi settings, Bluetooth and Airplane mode toggles, and Apple’s new built-in flashlight!

The next major thing we would like to discuss is the camera feature that Apple has introduced. The Camera app holds a whole new look and now has an interface, which allows you to apply filters right to your photos. Looks like Apple has taken notes from Instagram huh?? Another great features is AirDrop, which allows you to send photos to a select group of friends.

So there you have it! Those are some of the main reasons we are excited over here at StoryLeather. What excites you about the changes Apple is making with its mobile software? Post your comments below and let us know!
