Hello from all of us at Story Leather. We hope everyone is having an amazing week!
This week we bring a testimonial from Matthew M. Matthew shares with us his simple take on style and what it means to him.
Story Leather (SL) : What does personal style mean to you?
Matthew: For me it means having a slightly different look. Nothing outrageous but enough for people to notice. The look should convey to others that you have gone the extra step to not look like everyone else. For me it should convey a sense of style and class without being arrogant.
SL: What are some style “do’s” and “don’ts” you try to follow?
Matthew: Do make it classy. Dont make it say "look at me, I am different". Do make it flexible, dont make it so unique that you can only wear it on special rare occasions.
SL: Are there any recent trends that you loved or hated?
Matthew: Yes, I hate big womens sunglasses, they seem over done to me and hide their beauty.
SL: How did you come across Story Leather and what was your first purchase?
Matthew: I searched the internet for high quality leather iphone cases. I am tired of spending good money on bad quality products. My last leather phone case was like $30 and after about a month it looked like it had been through a war. I was specifically looking for something that demonstrated craftsmanship and quality but 99.9% of the products out there are just cheap low grade leather that are mass produced in low cost countries. I was happy to find Story Leather and had an initial price pause, because it was quite a bit more then others, however after investigating further I decided to try out one of the cases. I bought a Deerhill case with a wide belt clip. The case is fantastic and is everything I was looking for. Well made, attention to detail, solid, and looks very classy. Well worth the money.
Here's a picture of Matthew's case. Classic brown with a tan piping, very classy.
