The Cartera Connect, and most of our leather cases, would be a custom-made only item as these cases are tailored made to various makes/model of smart phones, so we do not stock these item.
But from time to time we may release limited run items to sell to customers made for some of the most popular phones like iPhone.
These phone cases are considered fitted phone cases, this means that it’s made to fit the phone with no attachments (the exception is a screen protector). We understand that the case looks daunting when trying to put the phone in, but it’s actually quite simple. The Cartera/Cartera connect comes with the standard 2-3 card slots for an Apple iPhone 5/5S, depending on the make and model of the phone, but if an ID window doesn’t interest you then we can turn that ID window into an extra card slot for your convenience. The number of slots are determined by the height of the phone the case will be built for.
If your belt is slightly larger we would recommend getting a belt clip with the anti-slip. This is an extra piece of leather that is sewn on and clips opposite the belt clip in case it was to come off the belt. Another option would be to go with a belt loop or a belt insert.
Both styles allow the belt to be inserted through the case to provide better protection. However, the difference is the belt insert is sewn on flat to give it a flushed look and the belt loop is sewn on with a gap.
The main difference between the two is the width of the clip. The small belt clip is slightly smaller in width whereas the large belt clip is larger in width; however, both clips are made to accommodate the standard 1.5 inch wide belt (3.81 cm).
That’s a good question! The Cartera is made with a whole piece of leather to give it that book style look whereas the Cartera Connect is two separate leather backs that are bound with a leather spine to allow an easier fold of the case.
Sometimes we get customers complaining why we charge so much more for our custom made cases when our stock items are cheaper. The reason we price our stock-items cheaper is simply because we are using these products to quickly allow our customers to touch and feel our products at an affordable and more approachable price point.
We do not have physical stores for customers to touch and feel our products, so by selling our stock items at a more affordable price point, we are confident that customers will come back and custom build a case that is personalized and unique to them.
