There are mixed reports about the alleged Apple iPad Mini. Some sites are claiming the iPad Mini is for sure coming, and that it may even arrive as early as September! According to the Wall Street Journal, some sources in Apple's Asian supply chain support that theory. Other sites are adamant that we will never see an iPad Mini, as that product would not only cannibalize the current sales of iPads, but also be a giant mess for software and app developers. Not to mention that Steve Jobs was very against creating a smaller tablet. If Apple does decide to release an iPad Mini, it would probably cost around $249, making it more expensive than similarly sized tablets like the Kindle Fire. Specs of the alleged iPad Mini vary based on report. Some say the resolution will match the New iPad and the iPhone 4s, but won't have the retina display. Most reports agree we will see a 7.85 inch display screen, but reports range from 4 to 12 inches. But as of right now, all of these are just rumors. Only time will tell if we really will see an iPad Mini hit the market!
