As if the 5.3 inch screen on the Samsung Galaxy Note isn't big enough, Samsung has announced an even bigger phone: The Samsung Galaxy Mega, featuring LCD screens of 5.8 and 6.3 inches! They are rather appropriately named the Mega 5.8 and the Mega 6.3. (Clearly a lot of time went into the naming convention, huh?) These Megas are really more like phablets (phone/tablets), especially the Mega 6.3.But each will feature Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and will likely feature the same new features found in the new Galaxy S4 (a tabbed Settings interface, for example). Both will come with LTE connectivity as well as HSPA connectivity in case you live in a 4G free area. Both also support dual-band WiFi, as well as provide the ability to send multi-media content to your television. These phablets work quickly and efficiently with their dual Cortex-A15 cores and at least 1.5GB of RAM.  You will also be able to choose between an 8 or 16 GB Mega, both equipped with a microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 64GB. Plenty of room to hold the pictures you'll take with the 8 megapixel main camera and 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera. If you're looking for a large phone with lots of power, the Samsung Mega may be the one for you. Just don't try to fit it in your back pocket :)
