Facebook recently announced Home, an immersive Facebook experience for the Android. Home will essentially replace Android's homescreen with full-screen photos, status updates, and notifications. But not every Android user will have access to Home. Only users of Android Jelly Bean and Ice Cream Sandwich (not Gingerbread) will be able to access Home when it launches on April 12. If you have Jelly Bean or Ice Cream Sandwich then you will be able to download Home if you have the most recent Facebook and Facebook Messenger apps. When April 12th rolls around you will notice a banner alert to download Home; you can try it once or set it up to permanently swap Home for your Android homescreen. Will you give Home a shot? If you do, let us know what you think!
